After issues with jetpacks, gloss varnish and supreme lack of skill, the Raptor has moved along now to this.
Still some Mithril Silver drybrush highlights on the gold to do, and finish the base. May as well make this post live now though.

And done. I present my first completed unit in my Thousand Sons Pre Heresy Paint Scheme Army.
Changed and added after comments. Painted external parts of teeth, and fixed the soft metal under bolt pistol arm. I think I got better pictures too.

ReplyDeleteHey Aaron, I would paint the teeth at the top of the jump pack metallic tbh, it doesn't quite look right, especially because it looks like the inside of the teeth are metallic? Plus theres too much red.
ReplyDeleteAlso, paint the helmet on the ground, maybe the colour of Space Wolves? Arch enemy and all.
And last but not least, its only one model from a "unit" not the whole unit!!!!!
The helmet is painted space wolves grey (the Army Painter version), the mouth grill is leadbelcher and the scratches are blue + dark grey, then all topped with a black wash.
DeleteOh and also paint the venty things on the side of the pack metallic, as above too much red!
