Very nearly at the end of the Heldrake road.  At this point it is still WIP, but unless I change anything I will be sealing it this week, glossing up his tongue, and getting a professional photo shoot in the weekend.

Winging It

Bar the top wash, I have finished the left wing of Mr Hell Turkey.

If anyone else ever buys one of these things, paint it all before assembly...I beg of you.

And so it begins..

The dreaded helturkey painting starts.  Given all the gilding it will have, doing it in pieces is going to be good for my sanity.

Here is a WIP of the neck.  A few more layers of gold, washing and lots of touch ups to go.  But you get the idea.  I really like the red wash on the exposed neck tendons/pipes.
