So thats the last Kataphron in this batch. Just the Tech-Priest to go, than I can finish my 750 next week. And another group shot.

Aaaaand another Cult Mech WIP

So I'm not as happy with this one, its the ranged version and doesn't have all the sweet armour to paint red like the other one. I also fucked up the head (of course I had no fucking idea how I did the other one lol) but I have heaps of spare heads so can just rip it off once I'm done painting the rest of the army. It is also much harder to get a sweet effect going with the plasma cannon. More tomorrow!

Edit :- Added some red to the lesser armoured servitor, looks better.

More WIP Cult Mech

So I started working on the armour and details of my first Kataphron Servitor this avo, and he turned out great! He is up to the same stage as my robot of awesome I posted yesterday. Cult Mech WIP

So I've been working on my Cult Mech quite a lot lately, getting it ready for next weekend. I decided to use quite an easy scheme, just involving a whole lot of drybrushing and washing, followed by some painting of armour panels and details.

This guy is almost finished, next step is gloss varnish followed by transfers and then some weathering. It isn't actually part of the initial 500pts but is part of the 750. Just a good model to test the scheme on. I have taken step by steps of the army as I've painted it, so will post a guide at some point as it is a really effective way of painting them.
