Another part of my project almost done.
I tried for an old weathered skin look, seeing as its the back of a wolfskin. I remember when I was a kid my folks had a sheepskin rug and it looked just like that.
Its a little messy from the washes however I will be adding a transfer which will cover a fair bit of it up. That will be another learning experience. Haven't used transfers in years lol.
Oh well, more to come later.
I really love the old parched skin feel of that standard. To me, it looks very realistic.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I would consider, but I bet you have already as well, is the runes on the sides of the banner. Are they meant to be a stamped effect? Or are they worth picking out with another colour. No biggy either way.
